Questions for a diffuser on an E90 please share your thoughts!!!!
I'm looking to buy a diffuser for my E90 m3. My problem is that I like the Vorstiener type II a lot but I don't think it's as aggressive looking also I've never seen it in person so could the pictures not be doing it justice? Or is there one similar to the Vorstiener just more aggressive?

CHallenge is more aggressive. I personally just bought the Vorsteiner this past weekend.

I have Vorsteiner type II as well.
I like it since it looks like OEM and it compliment nicely with otherBMW Performance C/F parts (splitters, mirror caps and rear deck spoiler). Some diffusers seem too aggressive and I don't think they're going well with OEM C/F parts. (But if you're going to pair with aggressive lip or bumper, I think other aggressive diffuser will go well)

Personally love the Challenge E90 diffuser but do not think they have plans of putting it into production again, sadly.
The other choice is 3d design from Japan. Here is the Vorsteiner type 2 for reference, painted in gloss black. Been debating putting this on my personal E90 M3 as its been sitting here at the warehouse.

do you want flashy? IMO i like both the Vorsteiner and the Arkym diffuser, like isugoo said they compliment a lot of CF stuff. are you gunna be getting a trunk with that? cuz that sets off the rear end, if you want flashy and aggressive go varis. they have a 2 piece that goes under the exhaust, i believe that one is functional(guys might have to correct me on this one.) i too was in your predicatment, and i went with Arkym because not too many people have it in hawaii =). good luck!

The VRS does a great job of adding an accent without being over the top with a ton of fins and what not. Add a BMW Performance trunk spoiler or even the VRS boot lid and you've got one SWEET rear end.

I think Arkym's E90 diffuser looks terrible! their E92 version is much better.
I want the challenge but have given up on that dream.. Gonna have IND do a painted vorstiener for me. I'm having the same issue as the OP have ind do a CSL style paint scheme on the 3d design? I think its an $1800 diffuser though? not sure why.

i'd stay way from the vorsteiner, since it's so played out. I recently got torn between a vorsteiner rear diffuser and a replica, H-Style diffuser, I ended up getting the replica version, and I think if the H-Style is painted correctly, it looks really good.

either 3D design or varis has the best looking diffuser for our cars in my opinion...
Powerbeast has the 3D design on his car and it looks fuckin good!

I think Varis is E92/E93 only. I need to start a E9* diffuser thread. I think there is one for front lips but nothing for the rear.

Looks nice. Are you going to paint the trunk? Any views from front and side?
