Anyone else disappointed in the limited choices for coilovers?
We basically have KW to choose from, which would be fine except for these nagging noise issues that seem to keep popping up. I also don't really need a double adjustable system. I wouldn't know how to adjust bound in any case and would likely just screw up the system more.
Bilstein still hasn't imported the PSS10 and there's a rumor of a JIC coilover. The Moton's are kick ass, but just too much $$$ for me. Anything else I missed?

Who sells the Cross units? And we can't get the Bilsteins here. The H&R are not adjustable, as far as I know.
TCK required camber plates and there are some possible issues with the Vorslag plates. I haven't heard much about the ACS units. They seem pretty nice, but are usually $$$ compared to something like Bilstein.

Doesn't KW do the Variant 1? That would be a height adjustment won't it? Would that work for the OP?
My (slight) disappointment is that nothing on the market seems to work with EDC. Magazines sing praises of the EDC but when you want to go with coilovers then you've got no option but to delete it |

KW only makes a V3, and there have been a lot of people with noise issues with KW's.

Anyway, if you're worried about the settings, in the instructions, they provide "recommended" settings. If you're worried about mucking it up, just stick to these. I'm pretty sure every manufacturer of adjustable dampers provide some kind of recommendation or a starting point for their set up. Last set of adjustable struts I had were ohlins (not for a bmw) and I ended up just leaving it at the setting they advised in the manual. |

Corresponded with Jay last week and he said they had "conversion" kits for EDC cars. I didn't follow-up regarding details but I would assume you pick the spring rate and they add collars for height adjustment.

3d Design has a nice coilover for the M3 but its in Japan (I have yet to hear of or see a US car with them) - I believe they use swift springs. So there is another one to the choices. Keep in mind KW also has the clubsports. |

I think that might be the ticket too.

If KW fixes the noise issues, I'd be happy with them. The PSS10's would be fine too if they sold them here!!!
The 3d Design kit sounds interesting since it has Swift springs. I'm interested in the Cross kit since it has camber plates, but no ones posted any reviews. I don't want something that's going to kill the ride or be noisey for street use. I guess Harold has the AST/Swift combo available too, but it's getting up there in price too, which them makes you think about getting the Moton's.

I'm hoping KW releases an EDC-working coilover!
