My seats have arrived!!!!

I ended up finding a used set for sale...and they look amazing... What you guys think I should do with the silver belt inserts? Should I keep them silver or repaint them a different color? I was thinking gloss black, alpine white, or a CF overlay

jealous....I am sooooo close to pulling the trigger on these, as they will complete my interior perfectly while keeping the airbags intact. Also, no seat is finished better!

Would these work for a 6'1" tall driver in an E90 with no sunroof?

These look amazing. I just cant get past the cost! I would leave them as is. No painting necessary. One thing I always thought would be cool though is if you had the seat stitching redone in ///M colors like the stitching on the steering wheel.

I wouldn't paint em at all, I would consider upgrading to the rest of the BMW Performance interior bits... Handbrake and Shift Knob would match perfectly.

...maybe even the steering wheel:

I'd wrap em first, then decide if you wanted to take the plunge and paint them.

When installing there are only 2 height settings, low or 'high'... im 5'7 and the high position is ok but a touch too high and the low setting is way too low for me. I'd say 6'1 on the low setting is fine.

So how do you guys in the US get around the custom coding? Any legalities involved?

I may be sending the silver inserts for some paint. I did not get to really look at em close since I was just at my house to take delivery. Looks like a couple of screws and they pop out?

I do have a trip planned to come to IND.. I would say I am at least a year out tho.. for a exterior makeover

I am 6'2" and I will have it on the lowest setting.. but I cant give any reviews until I install them.. but cannot install until my coding cable comes in.
