You simply replace pads and rotors as necessary and that's it.

It will be less frequently with Brembo because of their pad shape

Here is an example of their pad shape in the 6-piston monobloc caliper:

This generous amount of surface area and volume, combined with a high performance pad compound that is rotor friendly means pad life that is as much as 2x times that of similar brake kits, and rotor life that is 2x - 3x the life of similarly sized discs for the identical application and usage
Another silly question, do these create as much dust as the OEM brakes? It's amazing how much more dust shows on the HRE's as opposed to the OEM 19"s.

So, how much weight do these kits save in total over the OEM system?

You are looking at around 8lbs-12lbs depending on the kit.

Or sprint in this case
I have found the Brembos make less brake dust than OEM
also they dint rust as much as OEM rotors after washing. My OEMs rusted within 5 mins of high pressure washing and was like this from new.

Weight if te Brembos is like 5-6 lbs weight saving on the whole kit, so it's nit that much. Saw this on EAS build project car.
