Problem with flats?

Sup guys,

Just wanted to check in to see if any of you guys have been having any issues with flats? I've got about 2 in the span of 3months on separate tires ( 1 rear passenger side, 1 rear driver side) lucky I was able to patch them up and not have to get new tires... I think it would have cost about $250-300 a pc.

So have you guys had any similar problems with flats ?

EDIT: the air compressor that plugs into the ac adapter is dope !

///M cars don't have run flats.

I have had 1 nail in my tire and another was just low in pressure and i filled up and its been great since. Tires seem to be pretty fragile on the ///M's

I got a nail on the side of the front driver's tyre 1 week after I took delivery!! "Repaired" it and immediately sold the stock 18" with tyres and got the 19"s (which has been the intention as from the outset). After that no more surprises!

PS. Every time I say "no surprises" there is one poping up! Lets see this time...

Man, doesn't it just worry the intuitive newbee poster when M3 drivers don't know that they DON'T have runflats and you're in the market for some advice on Race Headers and Intake Manifolds?

It's cause half the people working at the BMW dealerships think they ARE runflats and unless you know better you're kinda out of luck.

You should have agreed with him and had your car get new oil every 1200 miles.

I've gotten two pluggable flats in my cayman PS2's in the last year... I think warm/happy PS2's like to pick up screws, nails, etc.

I had two flats on cup sports last year. No visible signs of a puncture and turned out to be the tire pressure monitor that they put in doesn't seat itself well. Under load it would slowly leak and i could go flat inside 20 minutes. As I live in Canada we don't have to fit them as the car can use the ABS monitor, so having removed them I have been flat free.

I think people either think it carries over from the base 3 models, or the TPMS throws them off.
