Cant get 2 cars-How much off MSRP can one expect for M3 sedan

I would like to order an M3 sedan DCT JZ black with black extended leather and Alum trim
most of the options including the 2k spkr upgrade which comes to about 70K msrp. How much off MSRP can one expect for M3 sedan?

Can afford 50 K on another car; I have a bmw 525 that I will trade in to get the new m3 instead of keeping the 525 and getting a 09 911 4s( too much money , will cost me 100K for 911 instead of 50K with just m3 upgrade)

1) With black interior; Alum trim or carbon?
2) Spk upgrade worth it?
3) I am hoping DCT issues are fixed or will be fixed
4) Finally do i upgrade to M3 or add a 50 K sports cars?

Last year the dealer offered 4k OFF mSRP , not sure how much they
are doing now with the economy and cars

Thanks

$500 over invoice (about $4500 off) seems to be the bogey. I had about $4400 off on my loaded 09 sedan DCT.

I am in South Jersey. PM me if you want to use Desimone. I'll call over there.

To answer questions....

Love the DCT. Lag is not a big issue if you use S mode.

Premium sound is terrific. It sounds great at higher levels. Absolutely worth it unless you want to spend a lot on aftermarket.

I did Carbon Leather.

I was able to get about 12K under the MSRP--it took a lot of work looking for the right car and a dealer ready to work with me. And, it was on a new 2008 model sedan. There are still a few left accross the U.S.--picked mine up for 52K; fully loaded M3 sedan with 30 on the odometer. Had to drive to another state to get it too...but it was worth the effort!

Aluminum with black to add some contrast

2) Spk upgrade worth it?

Get it, if you don't plan on upgrading with aftermarket later

Me too. Although the issues seem minor.

Upgrade to M3

You can get invoice + 500 easy. If you haggle you can knock off another few hundred. Invoice + 500 is very fair imo.

Good luck!

I never heard of anyone getting 12K below MSRP, especially since invoice is much less than that! The dealer had to take a hit. I got mine for $4500 under MSRP (about $200 over invoice) and .9% financing (didn't put one cent down... what's the point?).

He is looking for an 09. The 08 DCT sedans are pretty much non existent.

Its probably possible these days with the $7500 incentive on 08s. The car is one year old already. Take into account the depreciation. Sounds about right.
