Brake Fluid Maintenance

My car hit the brake fluid change interval, so I ordered a brake bleeder system from Griots and plan on doing it once that comes. I searched around and it looks like people recommend getting 1.5L for the change. Are there any other things I need for this maintenance other than the fluid? I have a DCT so no clutch fluid change.

I was good with 1L of fluid for a full flush. I also replaced the rubber hoses with SS lines. I just posted a write-up in the DIY forum.

Curious - how are you resetting the reminder in iDrive?

Thank MGuy. Are you using the odometer reset button to cycle through the choices as well? And without being in the same state as my car, I honestly don't recall a "BC Button" on the signal arm. But I'm assuming this is correct?

TIA

I actually forgot how I did it but its either the odometer reset or the BC button to cycle through. The BC button is the button on the side of the steering wheel stalk on the left side of the steering wheel.

It's an '08, and may well be beyond the free service coverage. Mine is.

Most people doing this are either out of warranty or tracking so they need more frequent fluid changes than 2 years.
