Where: VIR - Full Course (3.37-mile)

All, I will sticky invitation/roll-call threads regarding upcoming track days and HPDEs to provide better visibility as to what is on the horizon. I will un-sticky them after they take place. Please make sure to include place/date/organization of the event in the thread title. Also, please start such thread with "INVITATION: .... " or "ROLL-CALL: .... ".

Nice idea lucid. BTW, Mazda runs a very good event, and one cannot say enough about VIR. I normally run with them however, a trip may prevent me from participating this Month.

Yes, very nice indeed. If nobody here goes, and nobody else from my area goes, I will likely not go either. It's nice to have people with similar cars/interestes to meet. Back in June, I was the ONLY E9x M3 driver out of about 100!

Virginia International Raceway Drivers School -- August 29-30, 2009

Two day High-Performance Driver's Education (HPDE)

VIR is consistently ranked in the Top Six Road Courses in North America

A long 3.3 miles of cascading up and down road course

Over 20+ turns and 300 feet in elevation change

Both In-Car and Classroom instruction

Private Instructors assigned to students for the weekend

Over 3.6 hours of track time schedule for all, usually more time is added Sunday afternoons.

Instruction tailored to experience levels

Participants range from beginners to experienced
