Good point. "Breaks" instead of "brakes" bugs me as well. Sort of on the same level as calling fake breasts silicon or computer chips silicone.

I think everyone knows how to spell it, its just easy to make the mistake of using the wrong word.

Now, you know what really annoys me? Off topic posts. LOL, just kidding.

Hopefully, there writing this way not because they could care less, but because there just writing on a forum. I don't think their is any reason to believe that they would write that way in school or work, where its something they would be more careful about when trying to be more articulate and say what is on there mind and not drag on long winding sentences without having any punctuation or even to brake up sentences so that there opinions could be much better understood when making a lot of there opinions up because they probably would no better then to do something like that if they were really trying like to be in school or work or something different then being on a forum.

I find the "u" over "you" to be far more painful (although not a misspelling), it's like being stuck in a bad episode on the WB. Is typing two more letters that taxing?

I suspect the "brake" mistake is more of a brainfart (agree with "stickypaws"), as most forum posts are just streams of consciousness.
