Looks like the one they made wrong for me is on the way here. If someone is looking for an AW/FR fully loaded, you won't have to wait to order.
Wish my correct one had begun production. Sucks I am gonna have to wait an additional month or more now. |

Man, that sucks. I'm sure it'll sell quickly, though. As I recall you're missing the CF roof. I've seen a few AW w no CF driving around.
I have no idea if my car is on the Sept 28th boat or outgoing on the Oct 8th boat or something else - can't get ahold my CA to find out. I'm gonna call him every hour! lol |

I tried that last time I was there having my car's service done... he wasn't there! Go figure!
Yeah, that puts you at about 6-9 weeks before delivery, most likely. |

Yeah, I understand completely. I don't what I'd do if that happened to me because I sold my car and am paying for a rental @ $769 / month. Guess I'd ask for an equivalent discount or a free long term loaner or something.

Grr, failed in getting any from my CA today. He wouldn't answer until the end of the day, then said he would give me a call right back as soon as he did answer - didn't hear back from him. I love the dealership and my service guy, but I'm not very happy with the level of service from the sales side... it shouldn't take a week to get something looked up in a computer. Just venting! lol

BMWUSA website now doesn't show ipod/usb, nav, or advanced bluetooth anymore under my vehicle specs for the premium package on my 2012 ??

Yay! I finally got ahold of my CA!
According to him, my car actually did manage to make it onto a ship that left on Sept 29. I also have the VIN number now. Is there a way for me to verify that it's on the ship via the VIN and find out when it'll be at Port Hueneme? - Edit: Looks like cars shipped via the NYK line (Guarian Leader, I'm assuming I'm on because of the departure date) can't be tracked via VIN? Looking at the Port of Heuneme schedule, it does appear that the ship is due in on Oct 26. Last edited by eisenb11; 10-07-2011 at 02:17 PM.. |

Not sure what the exact report is called but it will show your vin and what ship it's on. That's how I know mine is on the ship. I also don't think we can track via vin w/o the CA's help.
