Launch control horror?
So this is kind of a blur. Was my 3rd time using launch control and for some reason, idk if i did something wrong this time, it bounced off the limiter and after going into 3rd gear I knew it wasnt right and braked. I got some error message but pressed ok before fully reading it. It said something about transmission and letting my engine cool down, put the car in (p) and if anything, to take it to a dealership. Idk if i should freak out cause after that i turned the car off, waited 1 min, turned on and everything was fine. I went home and im here now googling my ass off to try and find what exact error message i got. Any inputs?
I learned my lesson, rather just mash on 1st gear than use LC

I've learned my lesson... I just want to know if anyone has ever gotten this message. I'll check the car out tomorrow in the morning

Thanks! So in step 4 you hold the shifter forward, then mash the gas and when you release you will take off just sit back and not have to shift?

As I said, because you bounced off the limiter for too long, has already hapened to me (I am only speculating here...). The error message goes away and the redline goes back to normal after a few seconds.

I've used it once... I hate it. The engagement is too high(revs). Besides I don't see the point to launching really... too much abuse on the drive train.
