Which wheel to get?

Currently I have ARC-8 wheels but am looking at something different if I don't go with Apex EC-7's instead. I'm not yet set on staying with 18" wheels or moving to 19" wheels. Exact model either at this point. But what I do want is the best or better of the quality/strength, etc. Wheels. I'd rather not fork out $3,000+ for wheels but ultimately I want wheels that are strong, streight, persice and best quality. Anyhoot, here are my choice manufactures. By the way, my M3 is usually used for city/highway road trips, spirited driving in the mountains and track days when able. I'm not looking to compete. Also they must clear APracing BBK front/rear calipers (which I think all do).

Rays - Volk Wheels 18 ir 19.

Forgestar F14 wheel 18 or 19

OEM BMW 19x9/19x10 Y-spoke #359 (ZCP type wheels)

Apex EC-7 18x9.5 F & 18x10.5 R

Yeah those HRE's are sick! But a bit far out of my price range for now. What else can you suggest next level down?

Cheers,
RB

Apex if you want inexpensive. Volk if you want quality, strong, forged, light weight wheels for a reasonable price.

Volks in 19. Personally, 18s look too small unless you're going to track often in which case 18s will be your best route.

Our wheels are a great value for what it offers, but if you have the budget for it and are looking for a lightweight, durable forged wheel, Volk Racing is the way to go!

It's a tough choice. I do like your new line of EC-7 wheels. I'll be in contact soon.

Cheers,

Would it be safe to say that the EC-7 wheels would compare in strength to the Volk's under normal and spirited road and general use driving? And that they would be just as presice in run-out, balance, etc.? Price not being a factor in choosing at this point.
