Why are the ///M3-E36 bump stops are mounted in combination with Swift springs ?
Are these bump stops from E36 softer, harder, lower, higher or from a better quailty for our cars ?
So what's the only reason ?

From what I noticed they are shorter so u regain some of the suspension travel lost by shorter springs

What's the best place to get E36 bump stops? Also, I assume all 4 are needed correct?

I was curious since i've seen them come up in both the non-M forums and this one. I am going to pick up some Swifts, but before I spend money on other components to compliment them, I would invest in coilovers. thanks

So I take it swift is the way to go for a ZCP car? I like where my rear height is at, but I want the front to get closer to the tire.

Swift is the way to go period.

I picked up a set because I wanted to retain edc but go lower/stiffer and mated them with some fresh zcp struts(my car was pre zcp), shaved guide supports and e36 bump stops. The ride is superb and the spring rates/height are what I feel the m3 zcp should have come with from the factory. No floatiness, bounce or excessive harshness. Try to find a bad review for swifts on our platform; you won't!

I actually did try, and found nothing. Currently holding out for a nice used set, but if nothing comes up soon, I will be pulling the trigger on a new set.

I have H&Rs right now and absolutely hate how low it is (it came with the car i bought)
Eibach might be a better option for me since I don't want to crack the resin on the lip again..

I got the swifts on now for about 2 weeks with the stock e92 bump stops . It is slightly bouncy. I wonder if the guys running the e36 bump stops are experiencing the less bounciness because it is a bit shorter.

Uh oh. My Swifts just arrived. I was sold on the no-bounce promises of OP (and others).

Is it possible your springs just need to settle in a bit?

Maybe they do need to settle in a bit. Last night I cut about an inch off the front e92 bump stops to see if this made a difference, I'll report back in if it did make a difference altho just driving it around after felt noticeably better. (I also have e36 bump stops on order just in case cutting it made it worse)

Nope, no bounce at all with my Swifts + the listed supporting mods. ZCP+ is how I'd describe it

Thanks, dude. I can rest easy.

OEM+ (i.e, ZCP+) is exactly what I was hoping for.

Hey guys so just an update after I cut front and back e92 stock bump stops, it is now noticeably smoother and not as bouncy when it wasn't cut. I cut about an inch all around, which is close to the height of an e36 bump stop. Just my feedback.

Very interesting. Most people just do the rear E36 bumpstops right? Any reason you went ahead and cut the fronts too?

No wonder some people get confused! So it is the front or rear bumpstops for the E36 M3 that is replaced?
