So the Supertest will reveal times before the BMW official time?

Guys, will someone tell me why the M3 is pitted against a car that is some $ 60k more than M3? And why we should be waiting for the verdict, as if we were considering buying the Black Series if the M3 didn't perform well? I am sure each and every one of us ,if we could buy the Black Series, would never consider the M3 amongst our choices in that lofty price range.

Yeah, and after you guys read this, I'll post my track results of my 335i vs. my wife's toyota rav4. It's really a great read!
Seriously though, I want to see what happened but jeesh, couldn't they get cars at least somewhat closely matched? |

So with either Cup+ OR M-DCT breaking 8 is looking quite feasible. Again consistent with my absolute statement that with both options it will definitely break the magic 8 barrier. I think with as close as they are getting to 8 without either option someone will be pushing REALLY, REALLY hard to break the 8 minute barrier. brandonlowe: If I was considering cars in the price range of the black I may still have the new M3 on my list. However, the Black WOULD NOT be on my list! Just my preferences. |

+1 referring your comment about the Black Series. For that price a P car would be preferred here...(additional to the M3 of course) Best regards, south |

Do you agree that the e46-CSL with standard tires would have performed close to 7'55"-7'57" and not 7'50" on the RING? so could be possible to consider the new M3 with standard tires only few few seconds slower than a CSL with the same tires?if so, it is a very big result to my eyes...What do you think?

Correct
Indeed, you doubted my prediction but not strongly enough to "bet" against it.
