Ha Ha. I guess I get Jerez Black.

Placed an order for a new e90 in Jerez Black a couple of days ago and told my SA I'd probably bug him by changing the color several times before the order went to status 150.

I ordered Jerez because my better half and daughter liked it. I was trying to decide between Space Gray or Silverstone II, though, before I called the SA. It went to status 150 today, the day after I got a production #. Talk about fast.

I already had an e46 M3 in Jet Black, and I vacillated between Space Gray and Alpine on the first e90. So I was leaning towards Space Gray for this one. Well, Jerez is nice.

I have the JB/Bamboo Non-extended. It's a great combo and certainly not as common as the AW/FR out there. JB is a beauty (just like jet black) when it's clean. Then after 10 minutes, it's dirty again lol.

Good luck with the new order

Jerez black is an intersting color. In different lights it's always changing/ i think you will enjoy the hint of metal purple.

I hear all the "keep it clean" comments. My jet black was not hard to keep clean and seemed to look good even with a little dust on it.

Time will tell with the Jerez. My fingers are crossed. But either way, I know it will look great when clean.

JB is beautiful and I am sure will look great with Bamboo.

Congrats on upgrading to an '11. I just did the same and am very happy.

I love that Color RJ. My favorite. But what is going on with your AW M3? Are you going to trade it or keep it?
Well friend, I think I am going to order me a car soon. I graduated with a nursing degree . As soon I am able to produce a big baraabang paycheck, my first visit will be the dealer. But I can't decide, because I test drove the 550 with V8 TT, and fell in love with it.

My thoughts exactly, and JzB will be a little better than straight Jet. Welcome back (or soon to be) to the black M3 club.

Funny. I went in to order either a 550 or a 535, but in the back of my mind, I was thinking I should get another M3.

The 550 and 535 are very different cars. The 550 feels heavy even with sport and dynamic handling. It has tons of torque and really moves out when asked. I really liked it. Great ride; this was my better half's first choice.

The 535 is about 300 lbs lighter and you can feel it. It is much more of a drivers car. Even with less power, I would say it is closer in spirit to an M3. This was the BH's and my second choice.

If I had ordered the 5 series, I would have regretted it soon after driving it away. When I have room for a dedicated sports/track car in addition to my dd, then I'll get the 5er as a dd. The M3 is just my kind of car. Girlfriend put M3 as #3 and I put it as #1. It's my car, so I get to choose.

I know I like the M3 little too much in the back of my mind. However, when I drove the 5 series, I noticed that the car moves in a behaved, non-childish manner. As soon as I placed my foot on the accelerator, I felt as if the hand of God was placed upon my chest, and it kept on pushing me back into my seat. There is one thing I hate about that car: tires. They suck beyond my worst nightmare. I am assuming that BMW wanted to create a "soft" ride over Bridgestones, or Contis.
I have to drive both cars again to indulge myself in one. I haven't driven an M3 over a year ago. I know as soon as I pull off, goos bombs will overshadows me when I shift from 1st to 2nd and hear that "eeeeghhh" .
The 550i will not have. It is more of polite, purely unseen muscle car, refined in a mild mannered mid size vehicle.
ayayayayaya. I am lost again.
