When im gradually slowing down my brakes make a humming sounds along with a slight vibration in the pedal. Its nothing significant but its there.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yup. I get it when braking from high speeds...no vibration at all...but I do hear a humming / growling sound. Might have something to do with the cross drilled rotors and gas excaping or something like that

Why would all M3's brake make a humming sound while coming to stop? I assume not all have a problem do they? Must have been a flaw in their design....

Brakes work fine, as BMW clearly states the brakes may make additional noise as part of their design. I am fine with it, I mean did we not purchase performance cars? If you wanted one completly silent you should have bought a lexus hybrid lol!

Sorry but i really dont take that excuse. I own cars that perform FAR better than the M3 and have ZERO brake noise. GT3RS and ZR1 to name a few.

Sorry guys but i just dont accept that its a "performance" car

My brakes do not make any noise 99.5% of the time. I broke in them properly during first 500 miles. I have 3000 miles on my car. The distance for front break pad shown on the i-Drive has actually increased and for rear it remains the same. Am I just not driving hard enough as everyone else?

ok i respect your opinion, I feel that the noise is from the design of the drilled
rotors. When the rotors get filled with brake dust they make noise. If you were bothered by that, I would get some replacement rotors with smaller holes. Slotting makes that same noises as I have found from my previous car. The cars you mentioned have brembo brakes with much a smaller drilled pattern.
