Saratoga Automobile Museum Road Trip Eastern USA / Canada
Are any of you planning a trip to the Saratoga Automotive Museum between now and November?
It's a great opportunity for anyone that did not have a chance to visit the museum, factory or Die Welt in Germany, since this year the museum will focus on “BMW, the Ultimate Driving Machine.” Historic BMWs on display will range from the sporty pre-War 328 roadster – one of the most successful competitors of its day - to the supremely elegant postwar 507, the winged CSL of the 1970s, noted BMW racecars and much more. BMW Classic is anticipated to provide cars from the BMW Museum in Munich and the BMWNA Collection. Jason posted information on this some time ago, I bookmarked it and plan to take a trip some time in June or July. On Friday May 17th and Saturday May 18th are some special events ... unfortunately I cannot go during that time frame due to other commitments. Anyway ... here is more info if any of you are interested ---> Click here to go to the museum site

Even if you're not planning on attending the drive to Saratoga is well worth it in the summer time. It's one of the nicest locations in upstate NY. Take a road trip during August on a weekend and go the the track. Also check out SPAC for their summer concert series. It's wonderful outdoor venue for a concert.

Have lived in Saratoga the last 5 years, and it's definitely worth a visit if you haven't been.
Anyone who is interested and wants recommendations on accommodations, restaurants, and good parking locations PM me. Btw the Saratoga car museum is located inside the state park with golf courses, public pools, running trails, SPAC (great outdoor concert venue), hotel, and recreation lawns so easy place to relax and family friendly.
