Linea Corse LC818
I am thinking about getting these wheels and I currently have 12mm spacers in the back with 265/35/19 and 15mm spacers in the front with 245/35/19 tires. I just got these tires less than a year ago so am thinking of just getting the wheels and using existing tires. Would this be possible do you guys think? Also, with the new wheels would you recommend I remove the spacers? I'm kind of new to wheels so any advice would help. Also, do you think just maybe getting 20s and removing the spacers would be better? Thanks!!

The 245 will fit on the 9.5" front but the 265 will not fit on the 11" rear. You do not need any spacers with this setup. IMHO stay away from the 20's unless you have very good roads. The tire is very thin and makes for a harsher ride.

LC wheels are a downgrade from OEM. Save your money (and keep your OEM wheels) unless you buy a quality wheel (BBS, Volk, advan, hre, Forgeline, OZ, etc). Do not get 20's. The M3 is best with 18's or 19's.

Line Corse are decent wheels and have been around for a little while. I ran their CSL reps on my e46 b/c they had the ultra staggered 10" rears. IMO yes, there are better wheels out there but I wouldn't hesitate to run them. Not everyone can afford HRE, BBS, Volk.
Also your tires will fit, rears will be a little stretched on the 11" but not bad until you want to change to a 275-285-295. They also sit very well in the fenders. Do a search there's some good pics on here of them on a black coupe. |

Heck even a 295 is stretched on a 11" wheel

Recommended and acceptable is different. The recommended wheel for a 285 is 10". It can be run up to a 11" wheel. If running it on a wheel larger than 10" it is "stretched"
Same as a 295, it is recommended for a 10.5 wheel. If you run it on a 11" wheel it is "stretched"

Fact: I am running a 285/35/18 on a 18x11 et 18 and it's perfect. I too was a little worried that it may be slightly (and I mean ever so slightly) stretched but no. Its perfect and still meaty. See all my pics. If the manufacturer states what the recommended sizes are then I trust them.. I have run all the gammut (SP?) of sizes on varying widths of wheels and I really like the 285 on the 11" edit: one should add that all tires are NOT created equal and my situation is a 285 Nitto. |

I 100% understand that, which is why I recommended that the OP save his money and stick with his OEM wheels. I don't see any point in tossing aside a high quality OEM wheel to install sub-par replicas. Philosophically I think modifications should be done to enhance performance (or adjust performance in a way that better suites the owner's desired use). It doesn't make sense to spend your hard earned money to install something of lesser quality than what's already there from the factory....
