Calling out supercharged owners

Out of curiosity, looking to compare numbers here at altitude to see what everyone is making with this piss thin air.

Im running a ESS 625 w/ AR Design resonated (2) cat delete x pipe w/ OEM exhaust mod

i ended up making 526hp/343tq corrected at finishline. (i believe it was like 447 uncorrected) and peak boost of 6.2psi (small spike when letting of throttle, see's around 5.8-6 consistent)

Just curious if anyone has swapped pulleys on their kits to compensate for the altitude. Kinda disheartening seeing guys with this kit making 560-600 uncorrected at sea level, while i'm making 526 SAE/ 447 uncorrected with the same blower.

I don't personally have a supercharger, but I've seen several kits from various venders and you're about on par power wise. Talking with Roman he would possibly change out the crank pulley to a larger one if the numbers are too low. Swapping the supercharger pulley is bound to induce some slippage. The AA stage 2 cars make about the same power here as well.
Altitude sucks. It a doesn't matter what car you mod, they all suffer. It's best not to focus on whp with guys you can never compare to. You're better off comparing the deltas of your before and after runs.
Just enjoy what you have, the 625 cars are fast!

I have an ESS 625 kit. Spoke at length with Roman regarding a smaller pulley. He encouraged me to stay away from such with 91 octane fuel, even with the reduced boost at altitude. I will scheduling a dyno within the next 30 days and will post the results.

Yea i hear ya. I think we may try machining a pulley here at AR Design to up the boost to be on par (or closer to) with sea level folks.

Also, would be curious for you to run on same dyno as me, on the same day. I'm great friends with the guys up at finishline and im sure i could get us a deal if ya would want to run back to back to compare numbers etc..

How much boost is your car making? What gauge are you using to verify it, the dyno's readout?

I've scheduled a dyno for Thursday and will let you know the results. A trip to Finishline may be doable later this summer. I will keep you posted. Keep in mind, however, you results should be North of mine as I have stock cats with Eisenmann Sport exhaust.

Regarding boost.... what did your dyno results show as max boost? My "gauge" readings are a tick above 5 psi with the VT2-625 kit. Hence, I'm anxious to see what the dyno shows.

Here goes my last pull on 100 octane last week. Shows a peak of 7psi, but thats just due to a split second pressure build up just prior to the bypass valve opening when i get of WOT. She see's right around 6-6.2psi.

550hp (447 uncorrected)

We threw on the 3.6" pulley and replaced the 625 (3.8") today. We saw about 1 psi increase (from 6 to 7.0psi) Managed to pull 565hp/362tq at 7psi (previous 526hp/343tq at 6psi on pump. 550 on 100.) AFR's were low 11's past 6k rpm. After throwing some ideas around we are gonna aim for 9psi peak. Apparently the DMU will auto-compensate fuel if needed, and with the lower static compression up here in Colorado, 9 should be plenty safe and SHOULD net me right around 600-625 corrected (500ish uncorrected)

Next step after the 3.2" pulley is converting the car to E85. Just trying to figure a way to tune the car once we throw in a larger pump and injectors to handle to E85. At that point I would love to see 650+ on 9-10psi.

A little fun post pulley install haha. Clearly need some sticky drag radials now!
