Bedroom Sets, Lets see yours!

I was wondering what some of your bedroom sets look like, Im sure Im not going to get to many pictures just because most people don't take pictures of there rooms haha. But Im looking for a set soon and I was just wondering if you guys have cool set ups. I really liked this 1, until I read about how awful bi-cast leather was.

Ive been looking online for a nice bedroom set.

Most people find this style tacky but ive always loved it. I just dont know the name of the style to search for it. Its a high gloss black with almost a marble effect. Does anyone know? Heres a pic of something like it

I've actually got a cheap Ikea set. We were moving and needed something ASAP. All the nice stuff we wanted was 6-8 weeks delivery, so we bought the Ikea stuff as a placeholder. Then we got a puppy who likes to chew furniture so any upgrades are on hold until he's out of that phase. Once we are sure he won't chew it, we'll pick up something like this: http://www.furnituretoronto.com/shop...o=BD01-74-1003

Nice. I like the modern style. Way out of my student price range though.

This is actually the second Malm bedroom set I've bought from Ikea. Had a light birch one for college and bought a black one for grad school. $30 black Walmart TV stand and a nice big black glass desk. Good enough for me till I make the $$$.

I've actually got a black malm right now. Customized with sharpie colouring where the puppy chewed it!

The puppy also chewed a coffee table and a tv stand. He also ate a black pen while sitting on a white leather couch. He's lucky he's cute.

Niceee. I'd love a dog but I dont think I'd have time to take care of it now. Sounds like your better off sticking with cheap furniture for a while. I actually really like the black Malm set. Pretty modern looking and it was cheap. Got a huge black and white portrait of time square over the bed behind it with the yellow taxis. The ladies always complement it

I also got the side table that mounts to the headboard. Definitely worth it!

Don't know where you live.... but if you want something like this find a russian/polish/eastern european owned furniture store. They love stuff like this!!! Its like an engrained thing to buy this kind of furniture.

I'm married to a polish girl, so I know this for a fact. Luckily it skipped a generation with her... but every time we go into a store I have to watch her like a hawk to make sure she doesn't end up in the fur/purple leather/animal print clothing sections.. LOL

Yeah. Except for the type of wood, build quality, recessed lighting that make mine unique, not just another bed from Sweden made of particle board and assembled with an allen wrench.

LOL, yea i know most people think its tacky but for some reason i love it. I just want to say that purple leather and animal print is a no-no for me. Just like the black high gloss furniture lol.

Anyone know online a site with this type of furniture?

Ehhh. To be honest I prefer the Ikea set. The reds a little tacky. Especially the shiny lacquer and the lit up step for a bed thats low to the ground to begin with.

It may not be particle board, but its a veneer none the less. I do enjoy cold, ultra modern styling, but that particular set just isn't my cup of tea.

It's not red in person. The picture does make it look that way however. And who says everything has to be classy...
