What size set up for my HRE P40's?

Guys, I've got HRE P40's on order, the fronts are 19x9 and the backs are 19x10.5

I just put Eibach Sprinsg on my car this week so I want to make sure that there is NO RUBBING whatsoever and that I still get the widest and most aggressive tires I can.

When I ordered the P40's the guy I bought them from said to get 255/35/19 front and 295/30/19 rear, they're PS2's. However now I am thinking that those might rub. Please help me out so I can get the right tires the first go around. Thanks.

Do you know the offsets? You will want to measure those or check with HRE to see if they can look them up.

Call or email HRE, and tell them you want the offsets asap.

Insider tip: HRE will give these offset values to you, as their company policy is to release this info by request only. (to the original buyer)

BTW: The most likely offset values for your P40's will be +28mm front and rear...

Thanks man, I am going to call HRE first thing Monday AM to find out what exactly they are and also see what tires they reccomend. The shop I bought the HRE's from claims to be the largest volume HRE seller around, so I would think/hope that their trie reccomendation would be correct.

That's the exact same wheel/tire size I am going with, what was the offset?

Spoke to HRE and the offsets are +28.

The tires I have on order are PS2's 255/35/19 Front and 305/30/19 rear. With +28 offsets and the Eibach drop, you guys think i'll be ok on this The guys I bought them from said they have sold this configuration numerous times and have never had a problem, the guy at HRE thought I'd be ok too, but I want to hear what you guys think.

I am not too concerned with the rear since 305 should be enough space and 30 on the height isn't essentially stock. I'm just thinking will 255 up front be ok, or should I be conservative and go 245...

I just ordered some P40's - I think from the same person - and they recommended the same set up you mention. Mine are also +28. I think I am going to give it a shot.

I would be cautious about 305 rear. May rub slightly depending on your tire model. This is what others told me when I bought my P40.

255 front should have zero issues.

PS2's.

We were originally talking about 295's (it's not too late to change), but have since switched it to 305's. I think the wheel well is wide enough to compensate 305's +28 in the rear, don't you? The height is what would concern me, but at 30 I think we'll be ok.

I have the same exact set up that you have; E90 SSII/Blk with Eibach, HRE P40 19X9 & 19X10.5 with 10 mm front spacers & 5 mm rear spacers 255/35/19 fronts & 295/30/19 rears with no rubbing whatsover; I wasn't happy with how the wheels filled the fender wells which is why I added the spacers.

Spoke to HRE today, wheels already had the backpad cut, so no dice on changing the offsets to +23F +25R.

I mean HRE has made 1000's of these for M3's and the shop I bought them from claims to be the #1 HRE Distributor world wide, so I got to imagine that +28F/R will still look good.

If I am not too happy with the look I'll add 10mm spacers to the front and 5mm to the backs. I'm going with PS2's in 255/35/19 F and 295/30/19 R. It'll look good.
