Anybody have the Autocarbon Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel

Trying to plan out my interior design scheme on my E92 M3... I really like the BMW Performance Steering Wheel with the Yellow Stripe (Have yellow calipers), but I saw on Bimmians website you can do a core exhange and they will rebuild a stock steering wheel with a flat bottom, carbon fiber and Alcantra. Does not seem to be much on these wheels floating around the forum, just seeing if anyone had any thoughts on them.

Here is the link

Yeah those are just generic pictures...but when you click order now you can specify what wheel you want to have rebuilt to see if they have it in stock or not...since it uses a stock wheel as a donor they should be able to do just about any wheel

For me:
For Any E90 / 92 M3 - No DCT Paddles (Wheel Type J) Black Carbon + Black Perf Leather and Black Alcantara (Lower Trim Not Included) STW9XJBB3 $999 $799

I'm actually looking into steering wheels now because I want to do the MDM retrofit from BPM... I'd rather go through it all at once haha

There's a pic in the link of one installed in an E92 M3 with M tri-colored alignment strip, about a dozen photos into the slideshow.

Looks awesome, but I'd have to touch/feel one before taking the plunge.

Didn't see that one the first time around.

I don't like the weird shape of it.

Remember the guy with the white m3 sedan and the matching x5? Didn't he have this steering wheel with the custom center? looked like bugles instead of horns?? let me find the thread. It was revived for some reason recently.

Waaay too much. Go with front and side trim, leave wheel as is or upgrade to alcantara. The goal there is grip - CF with the epoxy is too slippery. Would never happen for performance reasons.

I have the autocarbon steering wheel for e90

Hey, I have one and love it. Took a massive risk ordering it to UK.
What do you want to know about it?
Btw the carbon isn't "slippery" at all lol!

Hey sorry for the late response.. somehow I missed all these responses to my own thread haha. I just wanted to know how it felt quality wise... does it feel solid?

Solid as a rock.

It's very chunky which I like but might not be to everyone's taste.
