The M3 is STRONG!!!
im about to leave the gym today and as im walking to my car a guy who is probably in his mid 30's comes to me and strikes up a conversation as it follows:
Guy: Hey has this car given you any problems?(knows i own the e90 m3) Me: Yea they are horrible for sure(sarcasm) Guy:laughs...im asking because i just lemoned my m3. Me: Oh wow you lemoned your m3? what happened to it? Guy: The car was in the shop so long and frequent i got rid of it. (At 47k miles). I was just wondering what your thoughts on it are because i think im gonna buy it again. Me: I have no complaints and for the most part these things are super solid. i've never had any problems and i couldnt be happier. get another m3 Guy: Yea i think i will...i mean i loved the car so much and it was just so great. i think im gonna get another one! Really shows how much people love this car even the ones who arent on these forums. the loyalty for our machine is as strong as ever. goes onto the never ending list of why i love this car! |

Its impressive actually. Most people who lemon a BMW would swear off all BMWs for the future. You know the type who would go around saying how their BMW was in the shop all the time.
Yet this doesnt seem to be the case for the M3. Lemon it and people still get another.

I romp on my M and it's still super solid!
One thing that BMW does that's keeping me loyal to them is keeping the cars major components super strong. Sure the leather rips and the plastic peals but the differential, engine, computers, motors, steering pump so on and so forth are super solid and can really take a beating.

Whether I'd buy another one or not would depend on the 'lemon' experience . I want to keep mine for a long time, but if bad bearings/blown motor threads keep popping up, might have to change my mind . Good day gang.

Lemoned my 335i and got two years worth of payments back that I used for a down-payment on the M! Couldn't be happier!

Fuel pumps went out multiple times on my 335i. Didn't lemon it, but I was very frustrated and got a month's payment refunded. Turned in lease and saved for M3. The allure of the M erased the history of the 335. Not looking back. I absolutely love this car, and I have no regrets.
BTW, the difference between the 335i and the M3 is the width of the smile on your face driving each. |
