E9x Key Fob Stopped Working - Diversity Antenna - CAS

Sharing as help for others and a mental note to myself.

Key fobs we're slowly dying and eventually quit permanently. Since I have CAS(comfort access) my fobs have the small cell battery. If you don't have CAS then your fob does not have a battery.

Replaced the diversity antenna(used on eBay once I pulled out my original unit) and it did the trick. Also replaced the fob batteries for good measure. Seems the diversity antenna happens to 'go bad' on the E9x's after some time.

Looking at realOEM.com the driversity module has been superceded twice in the e9x family.

Feel free to ping me if you have a similar issue with your M3.
