Sorry that happened to you. Please let us know who Company "X" is so others can avoid the possible run around and issues you had to face.

I am not going to write a long story nor I am going to bash on the company itself. Because the lesson learned from this is go with only trusted wheel companies. All the new PoP-Up custom wheel companies are nothing but headache and junk.

1. I ordered wheels from company X (x= bad bad wheel company) and pay in full. let the wait begin
2. The wait continues and after 4 plus months of run around, it should be shipped bla bla bla soon, and/or transit (of course they can't provide tracking cuz that would ligitimize their wrong doing).
3. Finally the wheels come in (this is way into 5 months (when initially was promised 6 weeks or even less
4. Take the wheel to the shop to get it installed, guess what wrong rear wheels
5. I call them and they are like how is it possible and wasn't taking responsiblity
6. make a video thanks to iphone and send it to them, guess what I get a call back immediately and they offer to take the wheels back and offer another finish of wheels. I take that route
7. I like the second wheels which takes a month and fits fine. The finish is nice but not for me.
8. So i got back and ask them if I can just purchase the original finish
9. I pay them immediately as I always like to have my accounting up to date
10. I get the rear wheels but by now it's winter time so don't bother test fitting them
11. sold the car and the wheels
12. the new owner calls to tell me he test fitted the rear wheels and they are still incorrect. The wheel hub bore is bigger than what is on the car. Which i think shoudl be 74.6 or something.
13. long story short, i end up eating the cost and do not want to deal with the company

Lesson learned and told myself not to buy any wheels from xyz companies.
Trusted companies to buy wheels from: BBS, Advan, Klassen, HRE, Vok Vossen and VMRs. This is from my observation, just letting all know what order i had gone through. Keep in mind I must have spend 20+ hours on phone, 10+ hours on shop, 5+ hours shipping sh*t back and forth bla bla bla.

At this rate, i can probably make a rule book (man code of ethics) and sell it to make some money.

Bad day, but won't let it get to me. Taking my 2 years old daughter to Disney tomorrow. Can't let 2014 be a downer by any chance.

thanks for listening.
Glad you are taking this pretty well. Why wouldn't you reveal the name of the company if they've already screwed you over?

Enjoy your time with your daughter man!

Reason why i don't care to put the name of the company up is.
1. at this point i am completely done with them, they simply can't do anything to make it right.
2. If i post their company name - i will have 10 people who had good luck with them, post how great they are bla bla bla
3. the wheel company will try to defend themself and then i would have no option but to post all the emails in the thread. My time is worth more than a moral victory. If i was in my early 20s and had the time - i would so do this.
4. this is 2014- i am going to be wiser about spending money and will not spend money on things from unreliable companies (that includes buying stuff from online such as clothes/tech stuff etc.). lol. New rules for new year
5. I want to stay as positive as i can for 2014. I know everyone wants to be informed, that's why i listed name of the companies that I trust and I had good luck with:
BBS, Advan, Klassen, HRE, Vok Vossen and VMRs.
so basicly you can take it as anything outside of the list is company X to me.

Thank you guys. The vacation begins tomorrow. Really excited.

Glad i have Advans. And yea, you sound like you are a much more mature and intelligent person than the bunch of folk you dealt with (the wheel company), so its not surprising you got the short end of the stick. Successful and humble people should deal with those that are equally as such. Congrats on taking the daughters to Disney, nice stuff

Sorry to hear that Raja, from experience I know how honest and stand up you are. Don't let this get to you and enjoy your vacation with your daughter.

OP, do everyone a favor and tell us. This post is pointless otherwise. Save others the trouble of going through what you went through.
