Rule of thumb always negotiate sale price of new car before you talk trade. Most likely they are throwing the neg eq from trade on top of the car so if your super upside down 2300 over could be ok but find out sale price of car first then go from there

its an 08 z06 with 13k miles on it mint condition. there is no neg equity in the car on my end.

10,500 is owed on the loan and car is worth 47-52k

Then yes I would shop around for a better deal. If you don't owe anything and they are still selling you the car for 2300 over invoice you are not getting a good deal. I would shop around.

Since you are outside ca we wouldn't be able to help you on your trade but we can def sell you a car for a "lot" cheaper then 2300 over. Maybe you can get some more $$ by selling it yourself while you wait for the 13 to come in?

I sent an email to the address you sent before for a quote... just waiting to hear back .

There are quite a few dealers in NJ so I may go get a price at another one tomorrow.. I would definitely love to have the quote from you guys as well...

The dealer I was at today was where I had gotten my 750Li which had tons of problems a few years back and I was never crazy about them as a dealership

so I feel as if I will get better deal elsewhere. The other dealership my sister just picked up a 328i coupe at so I will try there too

Hey if you want, contact Aimon at park ave bmw. He's always been able to come up with some amazing deals. Tell him what you want up front. You can tell him Sharif referred you, I have nothing to gain by this although I am a satisfied customer.

So I got the negotiated price that I want however, we are not agreeing on the trade in price.. so going to have to get in touch with the original dealer first and see whats up and figure this out.

question though if one dealer is at 47k as a trade and the other dealer is at 42k as a trade

and the dealer offering 47k is at 820 for a lease and the dealer offering 42k as a trade is at 620 for a lease. same exact terms if you do the math its a 7200 dollar price difference over 3 years wouldn't it make more sense to take less for the trade?

I would say get as many options as you can comfortably afford, it will help you out on resale down the road.

I am local to you and I may be getting rid of my 135i soon and want to get an M3. I am working a deal that may or may not go through in the next couple of weeks. I am not looking to trade since I know I will take a beating in the trade value even though my car has only 16k miles and its an 09. Would you suggest ordering over buying off the floor? Any advantages in price or other options available that are not on BMW USA's site? I was wondering if there are any other color options if I order one? I also prefer to buy through a dealer in ventura since sales tax is a little less than LA county isn't it?

^^well we def can take care of you with whatever you wanted to do. If you can sell your car yourself always try to, bc yes you will take a hit if you trade it in, no secrets there.

as far as buying a car off the lot and ordering goes we usually "never" have any M's in stock they are always sold so I believe at this time you would have the order only option if you go through us. Checa can get you set up with all that info no problem.

Colors; you can get any color you want if you order and you can option out your car anyway you like as well. There are also tons of indiv option to pick from through BMW individual program. If you pick to go indiv road figure it will be an additional 5k$ for the paint and a little bit longer of a wait. We sell tons of indiv orders so getting approval is not an issue at all

go ahead and shoot checa an email at fortiz@stevethomasbmw.com and she will be able to help you out with whatever you need whenever your ready (closed sundays)

Jim, when are you guys going to start a preorder list for the F80? I know its years in advance, but I did the same thing for the E92 and I was the first to get it. Sooner rather than later for me!

We can start now if you like, its never to early, however I would advise to wait a little longer till we get a sense of when they will be releasing them or when we can place orders. If you would like to send over an email to checa( fortiz@stevethomasbmw.com) and ask her what you would need to have in order to lock in she can def ask Ryan and let you know.

I def feel the same way as you though in that when they do become available there def most likely will be a waiting list.

Military Sales?

That would be a smoking ED price and a held at gunpoint US delivery price.
