r/d springs
hey guys, i am new to this forum and i just looking into a few post and they said i can not use the PM system until i make a few threads. Any way should i get springs for my 2011 M3 sedan ? I've come from owning a few audis and i want a nice ride and ride height, but i also know you would have to change out the struts on the audis, is it the same thing on the bmw's or can they handle the drop ? In addition the springs i was offered was from a guy who drives a coupe are they the same springs for the sedan ? Should i even bother changing the springs the car drives like a dream i love everything about it (the test drive at the dealer, mine should be here in a few weeks i hope ) but the height is a little high coming from lowered audis (which always compromised my ride alittle, but that changed with coil overs) or should i save up for coils for the m3 when warranty runs out TIA.

RD is a good brand for springs, they give the car a nice drop and firmer handling without being too harsh. You can use the coupe springs on the sedan and vice versa, the convertible has different springs due to the heavier weight.
If you are getting a good deal on the springs, I would go for it. The car can handle the stiffer springs and it's a worthwhile upgrade. |
