Street Racer Died: 997 vs. Modded Golf

A little reminder of the dangers of street racing. Great the Golf had the roll bars to bash the skull against. BTW, my very rough understanding of German, I hear the A2 Golf was modded to 300 HP - can someone translate the entire story?

So they got the camera out of the inferno but not the driver? Without a link to a real news story I call BS that he died.

What did the woman in the video say??? It you look at the very beginning, there is a frame or 2 of what looks like a woman reporter.

I don't speak German...but regardless, how'd they get the video camera out of the car...unless it was sending video to a remote location?

Very scary, that Golf seemed fine when he veered left into the grass when that 997 cut him off and then it all goes south

Not a good move by the 997 at all. RIP

yea, i was thinking the same thing. the car burst into flames at the end (somebody took a regular pic) and the video camera from the car was saved some how.

thats scary. bad part of the golf though he should have punched it or let go if he knew there was a car on the right lane.

I believe the golf went into the grass onto the left to keep speed instead of breaking when the Porsche moved over, so no, but it was still a very shady move by the Porsche IMHO.
