M3 vs. AH-64D

I will be flying a desk on my next assignment and I will have to downgrade my ride from a 30 million dollar death machine to something more practical.

That being said, I thought I would contribute to some of the ridiculous arguments that manifest on the M3 vs… section of this website.

So here it is… M3 vs. AH-64D. Feel free to mod the M3 as necessary to support your argument.

ATTACK!

I'd take the Apache - Straight line distance & killing power. Not to mention no I-drive Jkg.

M3 seats 4. M3 wins.

AH-64D has tiny rear wheel = spins on a whim. M3 wins again.

Man it must be a blast to fly one of those, awesome. You'll probably get smoked at the twisties and track, straight line goes to the AH-64D
I'll probably try to take out some pounds, 17,650lb is pretty porky

Nice ride. Never flew those; just Cobras - AH-1 (S, E, F and P). How about this one.

An M3 (with the limiter removed) has a higher top speed than an AH-64D depending on what published numbers you use for the AH-64D.

I'll take the AH-64,

Anything with "fire and forget" is the win imo!

I was 3rd ID (90-94) used to love watching AH-64s and A-10 in ground support!
The Apaches were pretty damn sneaky in "hush" mode heheh.

That being said you need some new rims & a drop!

Stay safe man!

Was with 1/3 Marines and i can say some of you 64 guys saved our asses in Afghan so I'm gonna side with the Apache. Although Its a little hard to justify the fuel costs as a daily driver....

Comparing the two is like apples to oranges

or

With the price difference I can make an M3 fly, fire bullets and look sexier at the same time!

I don' think he would get smoked at the track. If you out run him he can always just put a hellfire up your ass. Plus the M3 can't do a barrel roll, or a loop, or a hammerhead turn and drive away.
