04/16/2010 UPDATE:

The only thing I could do:

Well as most of you that are following this thread know ... I'm missing a fuel injector and a two bolts for my kit so I really couldn't do much. I had talked to Roman yesterday and he said he was going to try and overnight me the injectors but it looks like he was unable to do that. I'll be honest I'm a little bummed out but he has worked so hard this far so I'll give him a break I'm know they were really bust getting ready for MFEST.

I didn't have much to do so I decided to play around with the intake filter location. I'm really not to sure why but I can't seem to get that filter to sit in right. I was able to get it in to where the tire liner would not press up on it so I decided to leave it like that

Exhaust install:

After messing around with the filter I decied to install my exhaust since the car was a sitting duck. It went pretty smooth ... Got done with the full header back system in about two hours. I was running the stock x-pipes with a Arqray Ti axle back system but decided to switch over to a full Ericsson sysytem. The Ericcson system fits like a glove with no problems. This system was only made for the E92 so the tips sticks out about two inches more then what I had thought. The tips kinda look funny now but I'm sure a nice diffuser would make it look good. I just can't wait to fire this bad boy up I live in a condo with no storage so I decided to throw out the x-pipes ... I hope I didn't make a mistake

.... Sorry for the blurry picture but you get a idea

I had a hard time with the large air filter also. I had to modify the driver side ram air duct that Roman sent me quite a bit. My filter is sitting at a 45 degree angle. Only the middle of the filter is visable.

I ended up using my own duct ... I was gonna mess around with it more but once I realized that the injectors were not comming in I decided to slap on the exhaust.
Mike if you ever get a chance can you please send me a picture of how your filter sits.

Bro I'm just too excited!!! waiting for beast to show the power.
I had fun with mine last week on night race. Killed lot of Jap cars with 2JZ-GTE engine swap. The fun part was killing the whole group from the 1st gear.

Mine hasn't been cut yet, I thought a pre cut intake was supposed to be supplied?

I would love for ESS to fabricate a carbon fiber air box that sits behind the blowers, that takes intake air from the bonnet duct, as well as the lower air duct. The air filter could fit in there similar to G Power

On the street, 2JZ cars make so much torque that the really powerful ones will just spin their tires in the lower gears, even with drag radials. I bet a stock E92 M3 could beat a 700whp Supra to 60 mph, due to the Supra's traction issues.

I think you're gonna have to cut your RD Sport bumper one cause the stock air duct wont fit that bumper

RD has bigger air ducts so i think I will have to cut, but only the top. The air filter should fit without having to cut the bottom

Our intake system is designed to access air from outside the engine bay. Any attempt to pull air in from the engine bay via open filter or by a filter enclosed in a box behind the blower will almost always result in higher air intake temps as this air has been heated by the engine and the headers located directly below. It is possible to locate an intake in the engine bay but if you have the option to access cooler air direct from the front of the car we feel it is always a better option.

The intake filter has to be large to meet the CFM requirements of the system, this requires exact placement of the filter during installation as space is limited. When placing the filter it is ok to have a portion of it below the air duct as this area is enclosed within the front bumper cover when re-installed. We have been recently working to supply a modified air duct that will allow customers to retain the original. We will continue to modify the design of this part so that DIY installations require less effort.

wont the location of the filter so close to the ground be a problem in the monsoons... well i was thinking of getting it here in India and here we got some serious heavy rains so how would it hold up against some clogged water areas ???
