Swapped my 2011 335xi for a....

Just had a E90 post member take over my lease in the 335xi (thanks Eric!).

I initially was shopping for a used Z06 but the interest rates I was getting quoted weren't very competitive (due to the fact it's financing a "used" car). I ended up with what I believe to be the next best thing- 2012 CTS-V Coupe (6spd manual). More power than the Z but wayyyy heavier.

Pulls like a freight train and may even be more power than the stock (run-flats) can handle. On more than one occasion I've commenced a rolling burnout shifting from 1st into 2nd- so much so I had to get off the gas to get traction back. Interior is nicely laid out but the center console creaks like crazy. Awful plastic against plastic sound. Definitely detracts from the upscale "feel". Excited to start modding as these cars respond extremely well to basic bolt-ons.

Here are a few snaps...

The interior issues I kind of expected being a previous GM owner (2009 Corvette). Otherwise the interior is quite nice- very quite, soft-touch surfaces/leather-wrapped dash, etc. However I didn't buy this car for it's interior alone- it feels as fast as my modded Vette right off the showroom floor. Can't wait to get an extra 100+ hp from the basic bolt-ons. Should be an animal!

Looks great. I loved my first gen. If it wasn't for me being a hippie and not being able to stomachs 19mpg I'd be all over it.

love it. Agreed on the weight, dissapointing as they shove all the luxury goods into this car. But overall a great performance package for the price
