Favorite bicycle manufacturer ?

What's your favorite bicycle manufacturer?
Need a bike and wanted ideas. Road, mountain don't care.

Mine is AustroDaimler, sadly no longer made.

This is an older steel bike. He only makes carbon frames now. Couldn't find a pic of my carbon road bike.

Last time I was in the showroom, I saw BMW bikes, I'm not a bike nut though. I ride a Norco Yorkville hybrid which is ok but the BMW bikes looked decent for what they are.

The BMW bikes were cool, I'm under the impression that car manufacturer bikes are priced at a premium, but not really knowledgeable enough about components to know.

Road bikes I would get Giant or Trek, for mtn bike depends if you're looking for a hard tail or full suspension or even downhill.

I'm a big fan of Giant for road bike. I find that they offer much better value than specialized or cannondale bikes with the same specs. Not to mention, the propel is one badass looking bike!!

A few of the guys here regularly go out mountain biking. One of the marketing guys is about to build a carbon or titanium fatty, probably through Carver.

The current shop fav is a very simple, but very heavy Gravity fat bike.

Always used Specialized for mountain biking. Guy I used to work for bought his own bike company to supply bikes for his cycling team! It was called BMC. Not sure if they're any good as never been into road bikes but the ones I saw did look nice.

Very happy with my Ridely Orion road bike. Cannondale and Bianchi have also served me well on the road/tri, but Ridely has been my favorite.

For MTBs, I don't really care much what the brand is, as I mostly just use my MTB 29er for fun and an extra way to gets some riding in.

I owned a Peugeot street bike for 35 years. Replaced with a Giant TCX 2 2012 cyclocross.

As with cars, I am not faithful to manufacturers.
