Just an update:

I was charged $455 for carbon trim and if you don't get the ZCP its another $910 for the EDC. EDC was included in the Tech Package but thats gone. So the only option is a-la-carte or ZCP.

Also the new Fox Red/Black/Black combo seats show up as N/C for me.

I spoke to dealer and she/he told me EDC and M button is standard. I am getting vert so I am not sure if she means on vert or all model Ms. Or does it have to do with getting premium 2 pkg or new convenient pkg.

Interesting. Would you be able to verify if it is with Sedans and Coupes also? Far as I know since there is no tech package you have to either get ZCP or buy it seperately. Anyone know?

As part of the announced Sept changes, the M Drive is now standard. It makes mention of adjusting the EDC but I'm not sure if that is the same EDC that comes as part of the ZCP. My Sept build order sheet shows the EDC as part of the ZCP.

I just noticed this. This sucks big time. I guess they had to "pay" for the start/stop feature somehow.

Dealer left for the day. She told me my car us ordered with, pre 2pkg,convenient pkg,its replacing tech, and premium pkg. When I ask about EDC SHE said its standard with the m button. I bet you get it standard with one of those pkgs, I'm not sure. Those pkgs have shit I don't want. But have to pay for EDC without ordering rhe pkg it comes with.

Hmmm...I actually believe the EDC is a stand alone option now (unless you get the competition package). EDC used to be part of the Technology package, but that was replaced by the alarm system, rear parking sensors, and something else that I can't remember at the moment (as part of the convenience package). If you are expecting EDC, and you didn't order the competition package, you better get your CA to adjust your order. Otherwise I'm afraid you'll have a car that arrives without it.

I think he's getting an E93, which doesn't have the option for the competition package. So the EDC optioning/standardization for the E93 is likely different than compared to the E90/92.

I agree with you.I bet she told me that so I can pay more for the car they make more.I bet she don't want me to take options out.alarm, park,,comfort access, I pod I can do without if I had too.EDC IS more important then that stuff, navigation, can be standalone.

Hey man, I'm ordering an E93 M3 too... September build cars do NOT get EDC as part of any package (confirmed this with my sales manager). You have to order it separately. I am getting a fully loaded vehicle ZP2, ZCV, etc. but still had to add EDC (for $1000) separately. Get it before it's too late if you want it...

Owner's circle now shows (after I had them add it):

That's what I thought but dealer said its standard. That bitch just wants me to fully load the car.I don't need every option they can fit in the vert. My price was on old options, I will try to keep cost near my original quote if I need to take options out. I am not loading a car without price. I was getting tech, premium pig. Maybe now I will get navigation stand alone,EDC, BMW assist, DCT, 19s only in place of tech pkg, premium pig,DCT 19s. Hopefully its a wash in price with less options.

Titanium Silver FTW!

I had a post on it in the main M3 forum a week or two ago. Just love the color and figured since I'm dropping upwards of 80k on the car, why not get it in the color I want. Silverstone was too baby bluish for me and never seen Moonstone in person (although from pics I think I still like Titanium Silver better).

This really sucks. I don't want to pay for the ZCP since I'll be slapping some new wheels on there come this spring.

Guess there is no other way to get EDC then

No, you can get the EDC as a stand alone option for $1000.

Yes I meant no other way besides the stand alone. Either ZCP or standalone. Thanks
