Thank you all for the kind words. As far as the exhaust tips go I got some Chemical Guys Diablo with 0000 steel wool and the Chemical guys Light Metal polish https://www.chemicalguys.com/Diablo_...cld_997_16.htm https://www.chemicalguys.com/Light_M...spi_404_16.htm I think I'll follow this guy's method here: http://www.incrediblydetailed.com/ho...-exhaust-tips/ With some elbow grease I can get them to shine. The front plate mount is apparently BMW mount, I checked the part number, it's available with the bumper. I'm thinking to fix the holes or just put the front plate on it, be a good boy and live with it. NY is a tough place for cars like that. I mean, the car had 30% tint on it and I had the dealer remove it, because the law, as off Jan 01, 2017, only allows 70% tint. The people that give you the State Inspection have the tool now and they measure the tint, if it's less that 70%, NO INSPECTION, until it's removed Anyhow, the stock glass looks really nice. Bare with me I'm trying to upload pics of the interior, from my iPhone to the forum, but it says they're too big. OK it worked kinda small pics but you get the idea. I just installed Lux Angel Eyes on my beauty, she looks gorgeous now.
Also I changed the regular black grills with black chrome/satin ones and matching gills. Took the silver ones out. The contrast is really nice. Here are some before n after pics. The Angel Eyes are a PITA to install, but well worth the time. Last edited by ualdrivr; 03-25-2017 at 09:48 AM.. |

The one thing I noticed with this car is after a drive, it collects soot all over the rear bumper. It's almost invisible, until you try to wipe it off. Does anyone else notice this? Do all do it, or it's because of the MPE? The 335 was getting the rear bumper dusty too, after a drive, but this one has what it looks like soot on it. I guess I'm contributing to carbon emissions really well now. |

And yes, I do clean it up after every ride, because I put the cover on it. |

you guys are killing me. I just got the grills n gills. Need to build up the budget again. I have two to one votes on the painted reflectors, I don't know
I see some cars with the painted ones, some look OK, some don't. I was wondering, does the reflector, reflects after it's painted, or it just looks better this way because it doesn't stick out? |

A bit pricey, but cheaper than a Euro style bumper. Last edited by ualdrivr; 03-26-2017 at 03:06 PM.. |
