OP i got burglarized as well, someone broke into my old apartment a few years ago and stole my lap top, a lot of home made porn was on it and various pictures of my family and loved ones...it sucks but best thing to do is change passwords to all ur online banking shits and emails and such

Damn. Sorry for your loss. Last year, my car's wheels got jacked. They left it on bricks. I used the insurance money for performance upgrades...

I know how I felt when I got my STI stolen, getting your house robbed has got to be a lot worse. Sorry to hear it.

Damn, at least you get to keep the house that was robbed. You lose the car that was stolen. I'm sorry that happened to you man. LoJack FTW. The BMW antenna is too easy to rip off (thieves with half a brain know to rip it off and it renders BMW Assist tracking useless).

It was flat bedded out of a parking lot while I was at work and was likely in pieces within an hour of the theft. Lo Jack, Ez Pass, the club, etc... None of it helped.

What did help was the generous insurance check I got after wards. It covered a significant portion of the cost of my current car.

At least with a car, there isn't any financial information you have to worry about. With a laptop and home invasion, god only knows what personal info they got. OP, probably time to get credit monitoring and all new credit cards and bank accounts.
