BMW made aircraft engines for Luftwaffe that were used in FW 190 and JU 88 among other aircrafts in WII. They also made motorcycles for Wehrmacht.
VW made the Beetle based on Ferdinand Porsche's design who designed it for Hitler before the war. During the war production shifted to Type 81 and 82 (again Porsche designs) which was the German Jeep for the army.
