Edgar the cat. All-white odd-eyed domestic shorthair. When I picked him up from the shelter his original name-tag said "Poe." I figured that it's strange to call someone by their last name, so he became Edgar and the Charmain Bear strapped to my car's rear bench is Allan. I don't even like the poet but that's that

Camera is Canon 50D, lens is Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM (best indoor zoom. Ever.), usually ISO800 and f/5.

Wow, that is awesome she is cute. I love my boy. We adopted him back in June. He has a love for sticks as well. Do you know what breed they are? We are not to sure. A vet said a mix of Pit Bull and perhaps Lab, but some have said he looks like their German short hair. We are thinking about paying to have him tested. I really want to know. He is so funny and sweet. Your girl looks just as sweet.

She's a Pitbull Lab mix! We also adopted her back in August 2010 after she was found abused in a bad area. She is the sweetest friendliest thing, and your dog seems like it too! He definitely seems larger though, my dog is a little over 2 years now and the vet said shes not going to get any larger..

Well she is pretty damn cute. Remus is around 65lbs. When we got him at the end of June he was 47lbs in the shelter. They cared for him very well and trained him a lot. After a few weeks with us he started getting bigger. His little butt muscles really grew over the last few months. He gets a reaction from just about everyone we see. They just gravitate to him.

Curious about something. Dhoes she have thin hair on her head around her ears then around her eyes now? His has thinned out since we got him but only along the side of his head from his eyes to his ears. It is an even thinning and not patchy. I thought maybe he had a form of mange. We changed his diet to hypoallergenic and give him Fish oils and claritin everyday since the vet said it is likely a combo of food and environment allergy. So far nothing is helping.

That was Chloe up above (she's around 9 months old) and this is her older brother Chance (who's around 3-4 years old).

You have no idea. You can't swing a dead cat in this house without hitting a cat. Three things we have in abundance: books, cats, and dolls. (And vet bills.)

I don't know which I have more of Mark, eggs in the fridge or cats in the house.
I have 7 and 5 foster cats, do I win?
If I didn't have so many maybe I'd have more equipment. You should see my cat food bill, I could buy a 5DII +

let's not forget the increased electricity bill due to more vacuuming, the kitty litter bill, and the vet bill....

Maybe it's time to get rid of a few Just so you can support other habbits!

Depends if you count indoor cats only. We're one shy of your total. But add in our outdoor cats and we have, well, a lot. Without a doubt the worst part of cats is the litter. But they're all cool critters and I wouldn't toss any of them out.

all considering, you haven't done too badly with the lighting. But if you want more flexibility, shoot in Raw format. That way you can add some more light or dark (with better acuracy) after you've taken the picture.

If you did shoot RAW, you might be able to bring some more light onto the dogs in the first picture.
