Running Bridgestone Blizzak's full time okay?

Well, first question really is, can a 235/35R19 fit OEM 19" 220M's? The Blizzak LM-60's don't come in 245/35R19 according to Tire Rack. Then, if it can, is there any harm in running them full-time? Is summer performance much worse than my stock Continental ContiSportContact 3's or much acclaimed Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's? Thanks in advance.

Anything above 50 degrees and they feel like sponges...not to mention they'll were very quickly. I'd swap back and forth with the contis.

^+1 In the summer they will not compare to the Conti's or Michelin's performance wise. Will wear very quickly as well.

I ran a winter set of tires into May on my E46 M3, needed new ones for next winter. Trust me, it will be a lot cheaper to swap back and forth.

I would not use any winter tire in summer/spring temps. They will wear away to nothing in no time and completely ruin the feel and performance of the car. Not to mention that they would not be safe, IMO, during any spirited driving. I guess if owned a Camry it might be something you could conceivably do but why buy an M3 and then run winter tires on it in summer... makes the money paid for te car a complete waste IMO.

The cost of dedicated winters and summers is timing only... you buy two sets but they last twice as long. I personally would not ever do this.

On the other question, 235 tires should be fine on the front but not the rears... too stretched.

Thanks everyone for your response. Yes, 235 won't fit on rear but the LM-60's come in 265/35 for the rears no problem. I think I'll get a set of oem 18's for snows then.

I am running the same tires with 235 up front and 265 in the back. The fronts are fine, there is just more rim exposed from the more narrow tire. They are awesome in the snow, no problems last Wednesday. As others have said, get a dedicated winter set.

45 degrees and lower winter, warmer than that P2s

I am running LM60's on my ZCP rims (thanks Tire Rack).

Both are stretched more than I'd like (front more so)...but they perform very well in snow/cooler temps.

Can't wait to get summer wheel/tires on it, but so far so good.

IMHO: no such thing as good/great All Season tire - you will compromise.

I'de put 255/35's on the front instead of the 235/35's. 235/35's will be narrower and have a thinner sidewall height which will make the wheel more prone to curb rash and pot hole damage. I know that narrower tires are better in the snow but I prefer to run a larger tire for the reasons stated. I have even seen someone run 265/35's LM-60's on his front wheels without problems. Most people say 255/35 is the max size for the front so I was surprised to hear that the 265/35's worked but it could be due to snow tires running a little narrower???

Snow tires are supposed to be narrow to put more weight per square inch on the contact patch.
