Running No Exhaust // X-Pipe Back

Hey guys,

The M is no longer my daily so I'm excited to say that louder = better.

Currently I am running a Meisterschaft GT.
During installation we revved with no exhaust for grins. I definitely grinned.

My question is can I run from the x-pipe back without doing any damage to the undercarriage of the car. If I remember correctly, we have a heat shield that runs along the entire stock exhaust system up until the header.

I also have a CF diffuser that extends about 36" underneath the car toward the front. The x-pipe would "dump" between the shield and the diffuser.

I'll be going with a straight pipe system by Challenge when I S/C in the spring. I would plan on running this way until then.

Thoughts?

Um, looks weird? And cops will not let it pass by. Bet it sounds cool though!

It's your ride so yo can do it, but def run some turndowns at the end; you're better off running some straight pipes to the back if that's what you really want

See, what's cool is that my diffuser encloses the exhaust tips. Without the exhaust tips, it will look ridiculous (in a good way). It doesn't look like the video. Cops don't care about noise in Texas

I agree, which is why I'll be going with a straight pipe Challenge setup at the end of the day. I'm more concerned about running it this way for now, though. Could be fun Just don't want to do any damage.
