Wet and cold day at The Ridge Motorsports Park

First day at our new local track. Also first track day in the E90 which I bought a bit over a month ago; lovely car

It was 33F in morning and actually hailed for a bit. I was amazed at the traction in hail (stock Conti tires).

Here we are in the hail:

A bit drier:

Looks like a great track, saw some early videos of it and looks like it's going to be a real fun track. In the dry with some heat think smiles will abound. Nice driving, April cant come soon enough

Nice one! How did you mount the ipod touch? Looks like minimal vibration feedback whilst driving.

RAM Mount parts:

- Cradle
- Long Arm. This is made of metal so is heavy and acts as a vibration damper
- Clamp Mount which I clamped to the inside headrest post. They make single u-bolt clamps which I'm sure would work just as well, and they come with an insert for .5 " posts; I made my own insert out of some hose cut in half.

Cool . Looks like a very enjoyable track to drive . I remember seeing a preview video of this guy lapping a Corvette when the track had just been paved. I love tracks with elevation changes, they bring another dynamic to the driving. The facsimile corkscrew looks like fun .

I can't wait for the season to start here up north, been watching all these track day vids with envy...

These videos must have been recorded on the Sunday sessions. Friday was wet too, but there was a very distinctive water feature on the exit of turn 11. Saturday didn't rain. So, if it's raining and there's no water hazard, then it must be Sunday!
