I have a basically brand new VF Engineering VF540 supercharger kit for sale. I installed the kit about 200 miles ago because I had a buyer lined up to purchase my car with the kit on it but the deal fell through. I am trading my M3 in for a new car and would like to sell this kit to someone that wants a great deal on a supercharger kit!

**The kit only runs 4.0-4.5 psi which is very safe. With that being said the car will make 550 crank hp with 93 octane on a completely otherwise stock M3. The difference that this supercharger made on the M3's performance was astonishing! This kit basically makes the car feel like a super-car when put in "M" mode but still retains the BMW drive-ability when in normal mode. The power is very smooth at partial throttle but when you mash the gas it puts you in the seat!

***Another fact that I feel is very important to note is that when driving the car easy with the power button off, you will achieve 25 mpg combined highway and city driving. I do about 75% city driving with 25% highway driving and i currently get 25 mpg average.

Hey bud, can you clarify something for me please?

I talked to VF about getting one of these used kit's... They said that the software is NOT included unless the seller is purchasing it out of his/her own pocket and getting it to the buyer. Even if your package is brand new and unopened, the software is coded to your cars vin number which will be useless to a new buyer.

I just want to make sure I understand this whole Tune thing as it seems that all of the Manufacturers are making it really difficult to resell.

I have spoken with the seller. He will be buying a tune and usb cable for the new buyer on his own dime. Really is a steal of a deal here. Can't believe it's still available at this price.

That makes sense. So the kit could be bought without a Tune as well and the buyer can buy his own tune, i presume?

---Next, VF-Engineering will ship the cable & email the software to the buyer.

This way the buyer has everything needed to instal the S/C Kit & software themelves or by a reputable performance shop. The cable will allow the buyer to install the software without having to send the ECU to VF-Engineering. Also the cable will be VIN matched to the buyers car & can only be used on the buyers car. The buyer will also be able to upload any other VF-Engineering software & S/C upgrades I in the future.
