Trivial Post of the Day

Had my mirrors folded in to get close to a keypad at a gate. Passed through the gate exiting the premises. Pulled out onto the road and accelerated up to about 45 mph.

Mirrors unfolded automatically at about 30mph.

That is all.

I never actually press the button to unfold my mirrors when exiting the garage. I always let the car do it for me. it knows when I need them

Does this only happen with the auto mirror option (2011)?

Haha. Who reads the manual. I'd have to be literate and patient for that.

Yes they will unfold at 25 and that's how the manual states it, but I found this to be only under medium to heavy acceleration. If I'm in town or in heavy traffic and slowly gather speed as traffic starts to move that they'll stay folded in until 35-40 mph.

One thing about our mirrors is I wish that they would automatically fold in when the car is locked from the fob or using the CA

True dat. There's a vendor here selling those modules that can enable you to do that, might want to check them out

It's code-able.. I have it done on my car. Press and hold "lock" and windows go up and mirrors fold in. Press and hold "unlock" and mirrors go down first and windows open after 2 seconds.
