Totally agree, but doesn't bother me personally since mine is concealed and the display portion is in my rear view mirror.

the V1 becomes much less annoying with false positives after you go into the programming options and configure k band automuting.

i thought the arrows were pretty cool...gives you an idea of where the MAN is at

Rear headrest, player *lol*. Dunno if you coupe guys have a rear center headrest, though. Even if you don't, in the STi, which doesn't have a rear center headrest, I installed it between the fabric and the cushioning in the rear seat back. Functions just fine, and you can't really tell it's there.

Yes, its Gunmetal grey. Havent officially signed up yet, but already booked a room in Monterey. What run group did you sign up for? Ran 1:46.7 with the M3 last time, been shaving about 5 seconds off my M3 times so far with the GT-R at Buttonwillow and Chuckwalla.

I pitched my gf on that camping idea you had, but she wasn't having it Im gonna have to ask her, she booked it. I know it has underground parking, which is a plus, cause most of those places want to park it for you

Hated mine, hate the company even more. Nothing more that a noise maker to identify store alarms and construction signs. Multiple line of sight LEO failures and false alarms like crazy. Total POS IMHO. Valentine's customer service is awful and despite returning mine within the time limit I am still battling for my refund. Not to get long winded here, but its been over two months since I sent it back.

Got my V1 with the OBD connector. Set the min speed to 45 mph.
The V1 gives me a soft alert when I'm 45 mph and under.

So far so good, but I'm glad I got the OBD speedo connector thingy.
Helps make the radar speed limit signs less annoying.

It is annoying, lots of false alarms. Then, I got a radar ticket in NM on an empty, flat highway and the detector didn't go off at all. Since then I stopped using radar detectors altogether and not a single speeding ticket since then.

For me it has worked and saved me on tickets. I have had it for a couple of years now so I can read the false alarms and there not annoying to me. Mine is also built in to my rear view mirror
