that day there were so few cars that it was open lapping all day. i tend to like to run longer sessions anyway as i get faster the longer i go. last several times i have went i have the car all cleaned up and it rains on the way down then is dry the rest of the day.

Yeah im basically on a stock setup so ots a couple warm up laps then a few hot laps and then cool downs. Car doesnt like long sessions for me.

So washing the car to get better aerodynamics was wasted on the drive up?

Looks fun though. I just cleaned the crap out of my car yesterday since it was so windy at the track on friday. Basically a small tornado of dust built up inside the car lol.

You are a machine, I'm so beat after a 25-min session. I think that I'd probably cramp up trying to go 30+ minutes.

Practice. At 20 minutes I'm finally really getting after it. That's only 10 laps? Things are just getting fun. I do recline the seat and put my elbow on the window sill with a beverage, it helps.

I did a 35 minute session once...ended with a spin. Once I get comfortable I sense impending doom. So I either slow down or come in. My driving style probably has a lot to do with it...

Maybe I have no sense then. Once I'm comfortable I just go faster and quit thinking so much and just do. I'm also a beginner.

You boys in the Northwest have it easy...some of us have to suffer through 100 degree heat to track May through Sept. I tracked when it was 114 in July....car was doing great...as for me, not so much.
