Silverstone Owners - Silver or Blue

Silverstone Owners - Do you like it when your car looks more sliver or more blue?

I have to disagree. I'm not sure how you could say that white isn't the defining color for the e9x M3. not just because of the prevalence of AW, but because it was universally used throughout almost all of the marketing materials.

I'm an AW owner, but I often wish I had gone with a different color. SSII and JZB are at the top of my list. I've seen a few SSII cars driving through the city at night and it looks stunning under the street lights.

I like it when it's more silver with a tiny bit of blue.

SS II was my no.1 pick, but wasn't available when I bought the car. Always love this color.

For the record, I like it when it's more blue. One weird thing is that it seems that it is blue on more days when it is a bit dirty. It tends to be more silver when freshly washed.

Def like it when it looks more blue. Was my number one choice and the only color I would pick for the current m3. It's absolutely stunning, especially under street lights just like the other member said.

AW was used for the E92, but SSII was used for the E90...

Silver or blue, it works!

SSII also shows the M3's lines the absolute best of any available color.

This is what I've noticed about SSII:

In bright light conditions, the silver color reflects far more brightly than the blue and the car more or less appears as "standard issue BMW silver." Under these lighting conditions, my opinion of SSII is "eh"

In faint light - like when the sun is setting or in a parking garage - the silver fades and the blue becomes far more noticeable. It's the modest silver with the blueish hue that I absolutely love - a truly gorgeous combination

+1 for blue. on our previous silverstone M5 I prefer silver though because we had a carbon fiber theme on it.

Blue fan here.....though on a beautiful night it almost looks like moonstone silver which with clean rims and some shone on the tires makes it look so clean and badass

Cheers,
