Great Fun

It was excellent. Thanks again Rob and Duncan.
I have traded my lawn mowing attachment in for a tire shredding and smoke attachment.
As they say - you are not trying hard enough unless you wipe out - and what better place to find the limits than the DDT.
See everyone again soon.

Thanks Duncan for organizing this event. Even with the freaking cold weather it was a blast. DDT is a wonderful track to for learning and pushing the limits safely. And with this much track time (as much as drivers could handle), it was amazing! The most progress I ever made in one day.

On another note, M3 is such a great car - not the fastest or sportiest, of course, but with this car you always know why it does this or that and what to try next to make it faster, smoother or more controlled. It never makes you think "WFT just happened?" On the flip side, it is almost impossible to blame the car - it's always the driver :-)

This is Michael with the IB sedan. It was nice meeting you all and I want to thank Robin and Duncan for organizing the day!

Anyone who is hesitant (newbie or experienced track driver), shouldn't think and just sign up for their next date. This was my first event with them and I had a blast!
Friendly bunch that can really drive!

By the way, it was surprising that most of the M3s at the meet were 4-doors. I am so used to being the odd one at most meets. Not to turn this into an argument about what's better - just questioning the stereotype that sedan guys do not track their cars.
