My car isn't ZCP so couldn't compare but from stock M3 coupe, I am 30mm lowered in the front and 15mm in the rear. Although I might lift the front 5mm this week and drop the rear 5mm.

I'm in that mission!!
How were giubo and CSB shape? I'm willing to change the CSB and the diff bushings, but not the giubo. wonder if I'm betting the wrong parts, but I already bought the parts and there's only one way to find out. The biggest fear is the problem being inside the diff. Hope not. Please provide more details to quiet down my anxiety. Last edited by jvictormp; 05-05-2024 at 06:45 AM.. |

State inspection, of course front rotors failed in MD but passed in NC where I purchased from. And then dropped car off at Flemming Automotive to get BE Bearings put in. So anxious to get it back!!

Didn’t meet minimum thickness for MD. Which is fair I suppose given per paperwork rotors were done 50k miles ago or so on the car. Guess NC is a bit more lenient with their state inspection. Giving the ECS V5 rotors a shot on the front as they were on sale.

Gave the RB's a good look-see, put ARP bolts in, adjusted oil pump lash, installed new chain wear guides and pump/pickup tube gaskets, and snapped both bolt heads for the rear of the transmission cover

I had a code for coolant thermostat so I had it replaced Need to get smog checked Read codes and now I get Secondary air pump error And on top of that, at start up, I can feel a thumping from underneath the car, about once a second for a few seconds It feels like it something that is rotating sideways near the center of car underneath me It goes away after 10-15 seconds Is there anything like that I can feel from the transmission or driveshaft? |

Finally got around to replacing the alternator after dealing with some intermittent stalling/electrical issues. Wasn't too bad, took a little bit longer than some of the DIY YouTube videos since I had to remove the ESS s/c bracket. No pictures from the install, but gave her a deep clean in the rain after since it had been sitting for a few weeks:

Finally completed install of Recaro's after I 'screwed the pooch' by cross threading a hole in MS floor mounts. Chose to take to a machine shop for repair instead of DIY tap with seat safety in-mind for proper securing, etc. Ecstatic with outcomes, IMO for e92 M3s:
Quick pics after install...
