About what I expected. There is about an $8K gap in the 335s, so no surprise. When they talked about all the add-ons in price, they did not mention DCT. That is not std is it?

I called it, $80,000 M3.

Pretty funny the vert M3 still costs less than the RS4.

edit: Whoa, 18s! BMW must really be feeling the 19" shortage.

Fully loaded = $82,770

OTD @6.5% tax = $88,066

Could definately be $90k depending on location. Now, tag your Dealer Markup on top of that. ~$110-$120k.

I would be thinking 650i vert or M6 vert at that point. At least you would have a usable trunk.

Yes, but for those looking for a high performing, hard top vert it fits the bill. The 335 vert is 8K over the coupe. The M3 is 8K over the coupe. The performance gains can be arguably discounted due to being a vert, but there still will be a difference between the 335 vert and the M3 vert just as there are with the other models.

I thought that for the $65K that I guessed months ago this Convertible was going to have leather standard... I guess now that it won't.

Also, it is at NY Auto Show too. It is kind of funny the way BMW is showing their products.

Good catch. BMW gets people excited about the car with all the bells and whistles to get people in the dealership and/or order the car, then gives them a dumbed down version.

+1. this is disappointing. what is going to be more disappointing is the poor sales that the E93 is going to have. 90k out the door is way too much for this thing.

$110-120k for an M3 vert?!!

@ that price you might as well buy the M6 vert and save money doing so!!

Agreed...High 80s is just a little much for a M3 vert...

I think that the RS4 Convertible base price was $82,000 and change... and that one was without a folding hard top. So I think that BMW is trying to tell everyone how great of a "deal" you are getting for just $65,000 and change for theirs.

What's weird is - there's no price listed for just leather standalone. In addition Leather is listed on the left side as if its standard, though its true Novillo is included throughout the car even if you get Speed Cloth.

But the lack of base leather listed there as an option makes me wonder. Could the extended leather and PP prices actually be those from the coupe/sedan, and could the car actually get leather standard (like the E93 335i does)?

Not that I care mind ya. 60k-ish is my limit for a car. I'm getting a sedan this time round. Got the kids now anyway.

The most relevant thing about this thread is that these pictures are the best representation I've seen on here of what fox red really is

As hard as the color seems to be to capture - that's exactly what it looked like in real life when I saw it...at least on my monitor

Yes, it was a mistake in that price sheet in the photo: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...42&postcount=1

Leather is standard in the convertible...

It will be really interesting to see if vert sales are slow.
