Owning an M3 is good for your health !!

Driving it is therapeutic for the mind and soul, and after spending 4 hours cleaning and detailing it, I realized what a good workout that was too.

Agree.

I cannot WAIT to get the M3 for this... did the truck last weekend and its just not as therapeutic with something this big. The S4 wasn't either, just wasn't a fun car overall...

Cleaning the M3 is therapeutic! My wife knows I'm in do not disturb mode until I'm done.

Can't say I miss it. Onward to my M3. Delivery September 5th at PCD.

Spent a day with a B8 S4 when my Cayenne was being serviced. They gave it to me as a loaner (!!). The engine was nice but lacked the instantaneous responsiveness of the M3. Quattro also makes performance driving relatively foolproof. Beyond that, it pales compared to the M3. Steering was nowhere near as precise. The suspension was both softer yet clunkier over rough pavement. The chassis/body movements were not as controlled. A good daily driver, but not in the same excitement league as the M3. Of course, Audi's competition for the M3 is the RS4/RS5. Much more similarity there.

They are quick with a flash and a pulley, I'm wondering

If the M3 will accelerate at the same pace or not.

Its more of a daily duty car though and a good bit larger than the M overall, which was one of the primary reasons I sold it. They have become A6/S6 in size if you compare to the older B5 S4s.

Sweet S4, my brother is considering one of these and may go test drive it soon, he may have been spoiled by driving my M3 though, we shall see

Not much fun to toss around though, also larger too if he's looking for something E9X in size.

Wish I had my 8-pot RS Brembos from my S4 on the M3.

Back to the thread...

You forgot to mention how many more "steps" you get in every day with an M3!

Parking at the far reaches of every parking lot or at the top of the garage (in my case), means I get much more walking and stair climbing in than I did with my old car.

I spent about 4 hours yesterday washing the car and putting on a coat of sealant. Definitely a great workout, slept like a baby. My back and arm hurt a little from all the bending over to put the sealant on the lower portions of the car, but it's totally worth it. It looks so shiny in the garage! Love my M3

Washing and detailing is extremely therapeutic. I usually wash our cars once a week and do full details twice a year. It's just so relaxing and it takes my mind off of whatever is going on. And it's especially fun caring for the M3.
