Frozen gray matte bra

Hi everyone some of you fellow members are wondering about the clear protective bra for the Frozen gray I just received my car and had the matte clear bra put on, it is put out by venture shield and you can notice it, but it does not take that much away from the looks, it makes it look like a more matte finish. Plus it gives me the security of have the front of the car protected from all these darn Bugs here in Wa. Enjoy

HaHa you people crack me up, it comes off fine when I need to replace it plus I had it installed through the dealer part of the deal so it's on there back it's a really nice paint and cleans up nicely.

Mark - thanks for posting these pics. The car looks great.

I like how the clear bra goes pretty far up the hood. The cutout on my E46 only went up a few inches past the emblem and I def got a few rock chips just above where it ended.

Pretty cool that the dealer put this on for you.

Would you say that the clear bra's appearance is more or less noticeable in person than in these pictures?

Cheers

^ if its anything like most clear-bra's: it's noticeable from certain angles more than others. Regardless it's nice insurance to keeping the car looking proper for years to come.
Great information and review - thanks for posting OP!

Parkplace here in Bellevue put it on through the dealer, I've had them do most of my cars and they take care of you, they recommend the extended 30" wide ventureshield, wear it protects the hump. And yes it stands out more than the photos but in a good way. Thks for asking

Great looking car and the clear bra is a must IMO. I do have to ask why not do the full front end though? More coverage and less noticeable. I'm sitting 4' from the front of my M3 as I type this and I can't see my bra at all.

I have a detail shop and install clear bra's as well.

I just completed a full frontal wrap (full hood, full fenders, full front bumper) on a 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS which has a matte carbon fiber hood/mirrors and used Xpel Stealth film on the carbon panels which is very similar to the Ventureshield Matte. I also did a Ferrari 599 GTO which has matte carbon fiber rockers and rear fascia with great results. The cool thing about this film is you can wrap any color car to give it a matte finish, which is the latest trend and get the benefit of not having to worry about any stone chips.

Definitely smart for installing the bra seeing that the car is Frozen Gray and it wouldn't be the easiest color to have repainted!

Beautiful car!
You do beautiful work! Awesome car too.......love my M3, but do miss my Porsche. Wish I could own both!

i did mine as well with same material had the rockers the rear deck the A pillars behind and in front of the rear wheel and rear bumper as well over a grand but worth it everything gets hit on these cars and its alot better than having a frozen repainted. do you have any ideas about spray on cleaners ive tried amsoil on some spots and have not notices any problems. wondering if any other frozens have tried any cleaners without spoiling the paint.
